Our YMCA Guard Boardshort showcases 100% Sanded Polyester construction for both comfort and accelerated dry time. Engineered for casual and active use, it features an elastic waistband with drawstring closure, as well as a hook and loop side velcro pocket for small storage. Contrast stitching and piping creates an athletic look, while a 9.5" base inseam allows for added leg coverage and a built-in boxer style liner provides support.
With UPF 50+ protection and a visible guard logo for rapid identification, this boardshort is ideal for pool, waterpark and beach use. Shorts were great service was awful. Said shorts would be shipped 8/10 days I thought okay. Called over 30 days after ordering took that to get my shorts. Never had issues before they should have sent an email stating there are issues.

Husband says they're great for lifeguarding - comfortable while sitting in the chair & they stay up when he's had to dive in for a rescue. The 'Guard' imprint is fading as pic shows & stitching is coming loose @ front tie. We'd pay a little more to have it last longer. Overall, great for lifeguarding.

These board shorts are great! The shorts get 5 stars; however, I gave 4 stars because the size charts are way off. Ordered a small per the size chart for a 31” waist and it’s too small and we had to exchange for a medium. Easy to work with for the exchange.

I ordered two times and was sent the shorts WITHOUT the YMCA logo. Hopefully they will get it right on the third try. We'll see....
